Bell Racing Ultra Series Vortex Helmet
Vortex is Bell's original state-of-the-art lightweight multi-purpose helmet featuring aggressive styling, comfortable fit and outstanding ventilation. Vortex is always up to the challenge and can be used in any style of racing.
In addition, the Vortex features our new SRV friction shield system*. This new system has a slide mechanism that allows the driver to adjust the tension on the shield allowing for multiple opening positions. When properly adjusted and in the locked position, the SRV system helps reduce the possibility of the shield opening during an impact.
* Sizes 6 3/4 through 7, built after August 28, 2006, are equipped with the SRV friction shield system. Sizes 7 1/8 through 7 3/8, built after October 3, 2006, are equipped with the SRV friction shield system. Sizes 7 1/2 through 7 3/4 built after October 16, 2006, are equipped with the SRV friction shield system.
