Designed and built for the 997's seductive lines, the new RF67 features 10 elongated spokes radiating to the out perimeter creating a deep center surrounding the lug holes. This lightweight wheel will reduce unsprung weight and keep you connected to the road while laterally machined relief along the side of the spokes eliminates unwanted material for weight reduction without compromising strength and rigidity.
The Champion Motorsport Monolite wheels begins its life as a solid disc of high-grade aluminum alloy. 8,000 tons of pressure is used to increase material density and tensile strength as it shapes the wheel. Forging makes the metal stronger, therefore the wheel can be made thinner and lighter.
The Monolite line of ultra light wheels are 100% machined utilizing state-of-the-art computerized precision equipment, which assures even distribution of material across all surfaces. This process may be more involved, but it guarantees exceptional tolerances and outstanding quality. Cast wheels are only partially machined, leaving behind uneven raw material which may cause imbalances.
