This water cooled, flange compatible TD05H-16G-7cm2 turbocharger has a compressor flow rating of 505cfm and max compressor efficiency of 77%, the highest in this family of wheels. It can be operated as high as 23psi without dipping below 74% compressor efficiency! This makes it the perfect low cost easy install option for your 275-300whp 2.0 Subaru project. Many people overlook the "Small 16g" due to it's limited CFM rating, however nothing is better suited to a hot 2.0 than the "Small 16g" turbocharger.

The FP16g turbo is fitted with a 7cm size turbine housing to compliment the fast spooling compressor wheel, and since boost pressure on this combo rarely exceeds 25psi there is no negative turbine back-pressure resulting from the 7cm housing. The wastegate actuator is 8psi to better suit the street car application intentions of this turbo.

Since this turbo is limited by it's compressor flow rate, one rarely encounters boost creep with this combination. However like any car that is operating in "offroad" mode without a cat in the exhaust system boost creep could be observed depending on the target boost level. If you intend to operate "offroad" in this manner and wish to regulate boost to less than 18psi, select the optional wastegate porting. Be advised that FP assumes no responsibility for boost creep on cars that do not have functional cat-converters.

The FP16G comes fitted with brand new coolant lines that may require lengthening or re-routing of the factory rubber coolant hose depending upon year model. The oil inlet thread is 10mm x 1.5mm just like stock, the water threads are 14mm x 1.5 , and the oil drain tube comes pre-fitted as well!
