IHI VF22 Turbo Subaru WRX/STI description
IHI VF22 Turbo bolts directly on to your 2002 and on WRX or STI. FIts with no modifications to your stock uppipe and downpipe. Turbo retains factory coolant line as well. With more modifications, such as exhaust and front mount intercooler, kits, etc. (designed for greater blow) as this turbo will start to come on boost at 3300 rpm, however is capable of running up to 25 psi @7000 rpm EG cars with up to over 180 Kw at the WHEELS Can pump more boost than the std WRX or Sti OE Turbo @7000 rpm, with some lag down low. For best results it should be fitted with an electronic boost controller, replacement ecu or well mapped ECU chip. However it can run with a Std ecu and a bleed valve.
