With 400 horses under the hood the 2005 Chevrolet Corvette 6.0L V8 is a sixth-generation like no other, especially when it comes to styling and performance.
K&N Engineering can take this sports car to another level with a 57-Series Generation II Fuel Injection Performance Kit (57-3052). The K&N tube has a cobra style look to speed up airflow by straightening the path to the engine. Its position helps to bring in cooler air adding to engine performance.
“The area between the hood and the radiator is real tight,” said Bert Heck, K&N Engineering’s Performance Kit Manager. “We made an FIPK (57-3052) for the Corvette with good power and also put in a bigger air filter. This K&N Air Filter (RP-5135) is well over a foot, but it accepted the air flow and is what the vehicle wanted.”
The 2005 Chevrolet Corvette 6.0L V8 showed a 10.0 horsepower increase at 6000 RPM on K&N’s dynamometer.
